St. Joseph’s Amphitheater at Lakeview

JPS, LLP is Geotechnical Engineer of Record for the new amphitheater on the shore of Onondaga Lake. Extremely poor site conditions were encountered including 60-feet-deep deposits of weak, compressible Solvay waste. Approximately 150 ft. long driven H-piles were utilized to support the slab and roof structure. A site-specific seismic response was necessary for seismic parameters.
