JPSLLP designed emergency repairs to a Flood Wall for NYS OGS in Rosendale, NY. The work involved surface and subsurface investigations using surveyors, divers, and sonar to determine extent and nature of wall distress that was found to have been caused by significant scour of the creek bottom. Repairs consisted of constructing a temporary road in Rondout Creek, filling a 25-ft-deep scour hole with rip-rap, grouting beneath the wall footing and apron slab, installing tie-back ground anchors, and replacing armor stone on the creek bottom. Much of the work was accomplished through the winter of 2019. JPSLLP provided investigative, analytic, instrumentation, and design services, as well as services during construction.
