JPS, LLP is the Structural and Geotechnical Engineer of Record for this 54,000 SF, $36M project which includes a 3 story steel-framed, cross country ski base lodge as well as a fully enclosed bobsled push track. This indoor push track is only the second one of its kind in the world. The 500’ long push track structure is cast-in-place concrete supported on elastomeric bearings to accommodate anticipated thermal movement, and features a specialized concrete mix design to mitigate moisture transmission and shrinkage cracking.
